African-American choreographer Nicholas Leichter and his diverse company offer seductive, luminous dancing that wholly reflects the popular culture of today-a combination of  MODERN,  HIP-HOP,  JAZZ,  STREET styles.

«The piece, performed to music by Stevie Wonder with drumming by Jonathan Mele, conjures up a raucous
club setting in which six dancers live whole lives in one long night.
Individually and in small groups, they surge loosely back and forth across the long shallow stage, grabbing and hoisting one another in low-slung partnering that emphasizes weight rather than suggesting flights.
They sink to the floor , too. Every inch of stage space is used.»

«Nobody ever felt bad listening to Stevie Wonder, but the dancers amplified his magic nearly to ecstasy.
It was really hard not to jump up and join in –partly because the choreography was deceptively familiar, cloaked in the unpretentious style of folks shaking it all out on the club floor.
There are many lifts, but the dance“s emphasis-despite the title-is not the ether but the earth. These are live angels, on a mission to love one other right now –and always.»
